Once a week Beau took his daughter out to hunt. He doesn't remember her name, only her face. Their hunt was going well up until a corrupted wild boar unlike anything Beau had ever seen snuck up an began to charge towards Beau and his daughter. The boar was on track to gore his daughter but with quick thinking he pushed her out of the way, saving her but receiving the wound himself. The adrenaline pumping in his still flowing blood, he and his daughter began to run. The boar chased them up until it grew bored an left. Once the two made it back to their cabin, and the adrenaline started to fade Beau realized the dire circumstance that had fallen upon him. He was dying. After saying his goodbyes to his sobbing daughter he died.
The next thing he knew some crazy mad man was grafting a mask to his face and shouting that "the dead should not be seen walking. Wear this and be forgotten. " His conciseness fading he clung onto any semblance of his past life. His daughter. The hunts they used to go on and how he left her all alone.
With a jolt he was awakened, strangely he was clutching a book at the edge of a wall made from ash. His mind fuzzy, he took some time getting back on his feet. When he finally had the strength to sit up he was surrounded by many armed men and a young elf women who strangely resembled his daughter. They brought me back to their keep and began to question me. I guess I hadn't spoken in a long time cause my voice would only come out in garbles. As time went on I remembered more and was able to speak again. I regained my abilities when it came to hunting and soon found myself as part of the team sent on hunts within this keep. I was apparently really good at what I did and I did it for a long time. This weird ghostly projection I am able to produce now gives me the power to be better than my peers, perhaps it has something to do with me being dead. Lord and Lady Daemus eventually took notice of my strength and decided I shall be the one to take care of their daughter Ashryn. She looks so much like my daughter... After spending much time training and teacher her I decided to give her the book I woke up with. It had all kinds of information about the Ashwall. She fell in love with researching the wall, so when it fell I had the impossible task of keeping her out of it. After 3 months of constant escape attempts, I caved. She told me she would not stop attempting to go to the ashwall. I decided that if she wasn't going to quit then I might as well go with her to protect her. So we snuck out and headed to the the marches.
