Granny Smith, with twigs in her hair and her rat, Bartholomew, by her side spent many years in the apple orchard near her home as a child. She always loved apples, they seem to bring a sense of joy to anyone she came into contact with. She had always been able to communicate with Bartholomew from the first time she met him. Little did she know he was summoned by her with her druidic powers she didn't know she had.

Throughout her life she maintained her apple orchard with her newfound druidic abilities. She lived a long and wonderful life in her orchard.

Granny Smith had heard many rumors about the Ash wall but never gave them any thought, until one day when the wall fell while she was away from her orchard. Upon returning back to her orchard she discovered it was in shambles. Something, someone, somehow, destroyed everything leaving only a single apple and a little bit of ash. Granny smith was furious. She wanted revenge on whatever did this to her precious apple orchard and she would do whatever necessary to achieve her revenge. Before heading out to Last Lantern, Granny Smith used her druidic powers to infuse the last apple from her orchard into her staff.
