Babi and her crow, Omen, led us to the Drowned Village far into the southern swamp. After clearing most of the village of undead, we met a spirit in the church named Eonas. He told us about a Vayrathian artifact called the Book of Many Names. The Vayrathians once wrote the names of their dead within the book, and with the aid of a blue crystal outside the church, their spirits were able to pass into the spirit plane. The crystal has since been damaged.

An undead Vayrathian noble named Ikard now possesses the Book of Many Names. He has been using it to call the dead back from the spirit plane and is somehow absorbing their spirits. Eonas told us that Ikard was an industrious man in life, which may have something to do with what he is doing now. We need to recover the Book of Many Names if we are going to stop him and allow the spirits of the village to rest again.

Ikard rests in a crypt about a mile east of the village, past the eastern bridge and built into the hillside. Another spirit named Tae'rin warned Yatagara not to approach the crypt through its main entrance. There is supposedly an easier path into the crypt built by thieves somewhere in the surrounding hills.

If we defeat Ikard, Eonas has promised us an artifact hidden in a desk inside the church.
