Relnea's Report
Objective: Extraction of Stranded Scouts

- Initial rush onto the surface was met by minimal resistance from the surrounding horde. The creatures here were countless, though our group pushed through and headed for where the Scout party was previously spotted.
- Our destination was soon found to be one of the gorges that houses some of the glass casing for the O.G.R.E., though not the main device. Initial inspection found that the Scouts were nowhere ro be seen. Others in our group soon heard their shouting and advanced (my helmet was sealed so I cannot report on any specifics on what was said).
- We made our way down the gorge, finding ourselves atop of the glass. Here a quick skirmish with the mist infected began, before a defensive line was set up to stop more of the horde from advancing inwards towards the injured scouts.
- The scout party was extracted, though one of our group was believed to have been subjected to madness induced by the mist and had to be left behind as more of the horde closed in.

An informative excursion to the surface. It proved effective training and has shown some areas we may need to work on (primarily helmet removal and replacement). Preparations to deal with the oncoming horde will need to be made swiftly.

Tales were shared. A warning was given. More danger is approaching.

Primary Target: A frayed(?) amalgam created from the bodies of many different individuals. It made use of different masks, with its abilities changing whenever the active mask shifted. Ultimately defeated by Scum and his... whatever that machine is.

Secondary Target: Unknown woman. She used a firearm, and seemed to be proficient with powerful magic. Was seemingly the one who lured the frayed horde to our town. She managed to escape, and remains at large. Likelihood of further antagonistic actions towards Underhaven seems likely. Capturing or eliminating her should be a high priority moving forwards.
