Appearance:
Standing at 6'3'', Günakesi is a large, rotund unit of a Porcoar. His physique looks like a mixture between an old sumo wrestler and gorilla haphazardly fused into one monstrous being. His flesh is a deep, greyish green encased in mud-brown hair. Where there isn't hair, there are several tattoos laid on top of each other and bits of scar tissue poking out from under their ink. His face is composed of a longer snout, with several broken tusks jutting out awkwardly from prior battles and a pronounced tusk-deformity making his face look similar to a babirusa's. His eyes are a darker bronze and his ears chipped by prior fights through the years.
Public Character Knowledge:
Before settling into the haven, Günakesi had a checkered past as some sort of roaming raider for years, getting into all sorts of crazy altercations and vile deeds. Nowadays, he's simmered down by a longshot compared to his younger years, pulling odd-jobs throughout Underhaven with his bulk. Still a greedy piece of pork, he has been willing to do anything for money, never letting go of his 'opportunism' he had back in the day. So far, he's got a history of trying to sell some strange fungi he comes across and sellsword work in Underhaven.
Günakesi grew up in harsh environment that represented some of the worst parts of being a Porcoar. Endless violence and mayhem were common place, with his own band of Porcoars he grew up with being the progenitors of all those evils. From his young years throughout his early adult years, Günakesi was fully involved as a goon of a vicious Porcoar raider band that posed a localized terror, causing a ruckus and committing all matters of sins in the Porcoar band. Günakesi made an expertise out of being a big brute, someone that could just rush in and act as muscle to back up more 'wizened' leaders of the Porcoar hordes. That gig worked out for years, around two decades give or take, before he called it quits.
After all the bloodlust and violence, Günakesi just got exhausted. After branching out from his horde to run a few mercenary jobs off on the side, he began to experience the perspectives and livelihoods of those not constantly in the meat-grind of his Porcoar bands. Violence was not something to be thrown around aimlessly for no reason, it was something that brought him a degree of guilt for once. That, and more importantly to him, he was eventually going to get either locked-up or slaughtered by someone tougher than him at some point. It was an eye-opener for him, one that made him realize how stagnant his life truly was in the past. Along with time just catching up to his physical prowess, he decided to settle into a more 'civilized' lifestyle, eventually going fully independent under the guise of 'high paying mercenary work' to his kin.
Günakesi, now in the present, is now an older Porcoar in his late forties. It has been years since the days of his mercenary jobs and raiding, leaving him as just an odd-job performer out in Underhaven. He has simmered his regret and guilt into an explosive rage in combat, tempering it with a sarcastic personality and materialistic pursuits in recent times. A collector, fungi hunter, fighter, amateur mailman, and whatever he can try to be, he attempts to be. He's even started getting into some monk work lately, attempting to refine his brutish fighting into something with a bit more 'honor' as a part of it. Beyond anything, his recent years have been a time of great change, one where he has physically settled himself somewhere yet never found a permanent lifestyle to replace his old pillaging days still, even after years of this more peaceful life he's sought to live.
With that said, Günakesi's personality is just as bumpy as his livelihood. He's a greedy madman that has little social awareness nor instincts. He's floated by on a mixture of general wisdom he's learnt over the years through trial and error, alongside whatever connections he's been fortunate enough to make. Günakesi is openly jolly, keeping a moderately relaxed and leisured attitude at life, mostly out of both drunken stupor and an enjoyment for his situation in Underhaven. Still paranoid of both his background and tired by the evils he's done, he's not much of a social butterfly, preferring to make his connections out of business opportunities and circumstances.
