The party after trying to first solve the issue peacefully found that in the end they had to slay most of the rats scurrying around the farms. A poisoned trap was planted and the party cleared the grain silo of a monstrous duo of 'giant' rats. Barold McDoland was happy with the completed task and the information gained and set farmhands into work to clean the mess that was left.
