I'm not really sure what caused all of this to happen, but I helped defeat some bad people and mist monsters that were attacking the town and saved a Hedge and Ratfolk. Our group did well, I think.

Doctor's Notes- Circa 3732. Meadowend.

Chaos in Underhaven. The hospital is overrun with patients bearing the marks of spellfire. Our medics are working overtime dealing with a strange malady that has hit the town. Time is a valuable resource.

Reports of people suddenly bursting out in rage. One of our Hesperides has fallen to this affliction after looking at a piece of paper. Putting out a standing order to avoid reading any papers for now.

Screams from the Vein. I have assigned my doctors to their posts, and will help the efforts in the Vein. Too many people with no means of protecting themselves live there.

The adventurers assigned to protect me did wonderfully. They cleared out a sector of the Vein, opening a path for the vanguard. Still- something disturbs me as I write this. I saw a shadowy figure atop the roofs, watching us. It did not interfere. After the fight was won, it cast a long range teleportation spell- likely Dimension Door to leave.

Even more disturbing was what the last antagonist who fell said. "Geas". I am... familiar with the magic. We cannot take this as gospel, but... something doesn't feel right. Did we slaughter innocents under the thrall of another?
