Prerequisite: Renown 3 or higher
As an independent operative, you have proven your absolute loyalty and are granted considerable latitude in how you choose to execute your cell's sabotage or propaganda goals.
You acquire a Rebel’s Token—a mundane-looking item (such as a modified coin, a specific cloak pin, or a coded signet) that has been subtly enchanted to allow you to communicate telepathically with other verified resistance agents who carry a matching token. If this item is confiscated or destroyed, it is up to you to navigate the underground to secure a replacement.
Prerequisite: Renown 10 or higher
By the time you reach this level of renown, you are amassing a significant collection of blackmail, secrets, and supply routes. You know the location of a heavily fortified underground safehouse where your party can take shelter, heal.
At the DM's discretion, you also know (or can easily extract through your network) a damning secret about a prominent royal magistrate, an aristocratic supporter of the king, or a high-ranking city guard captain. This secret is typically proof of corruption, a hidden heresy, or a vulnerability in their family lineage. You can leverage this secret out of combat to force the target to look the other way, falsify legal documents for your party, or secretly fund the resistance.
In addition, you gain a Rebel Charm (fashioned from scrap metal or bone) at the start of each major infiltration mission you undertake on behalf of the movement.
Prerequisite: Renown 25 or higher
At this level of renown, you are responsible for coordinating the resistance activities of several decentralized rebel cells. You still receive broad strategic directives from a hidden council member, but you are given wide latitude in how to disrupt the kingdoms infrastructure, including delegating dangerous espionage and civilian instigation tasks to agents of lesser renown. You are also trusted with high-level logistics, such as the timing of planned city riots or the identity of palace double-agents.
Once a week you can call in a planned explosive strike on a location.
Prerequisite: Renown 50 or higher
Few members of the resistance ever learn who truly steers the rebellion against House Varos. At this level of renown, you have been admitted directly into the hidden high council of the revolution.
You have a vast network of saboteurs, disillusioned nobles, and street demagogues under your absolute command. Your word can initiate city-wide labor strikes, completely cut off the palace's supply lines, or leak state secrets that ruin a royal house's reputation overnight—turning the public entirely against the crown before a single sword is drawn in the open.
Once a week you can start a mass armed rebellion. Peasants in towns will stop working and take up arms against the Askans.
