You may select a single domain which you can add to your westmarch character page. You can select which deity you will be using for the domain. You can have multiple deities or domains but will only gain benefits from your main one. Your dm will reward piety for positive actions towards your diety...
Choosing a Divine Domain
In this Westmarch campaign, your character has the opportunity to forge a direct, mechanical bond with the divine. You may select a single domain to add to your character page, which represents the cosmic sphere of influence your character champions.
- Select Your Deity: When choosing your domain, you must explicitly declare which deity you are worshiping or serving. This deity must naturally align with the domain you've chosen (for example, choosing a God of the Underworld for the Death or Grave domain).
- Earning Piety: Your Dungeon Master (DM) will track and reward Piety points during sessions and downtime. Piety is not given automatically; it is earned by performing positive actions, making sacrifices, or upholding tenets that directly honor and advance your deity's goals in the world.
- Unlocking Rewards: As your Piety score reaches specific milestones (typically at 3, 10, 25, and 50 points), you will unlock unique social traits, institutional authority, or mystical perks tied directly to your chosen domain.
