Backstory: Jyak was born to the Pax, a reclusive tribe that worshipped a chaotic magical tempest known as the Anomaly. When the militaristic Arcane Dominion invaded, they didn't just conquer the Pax; they harvested them.

Enslaved in a mobile laboratory, Jyak became a test subject for the "Alter-Kin" program—an attempt to fuse raw magic into mortal blood to create living weapons. The experiments shattered his soul. Hovering between life and dissolution, he drew the gaze of the Raven Queen. She snatched him from the brink, but the trauma bleached his vitality, transforming him into a Shadar-Kai.

He awoke amidst the wreckage of the lab, salvaging a prototype Arcane Firearm from a dead arcanist. He uses this weapon not just to kill, but as a venting port for the unstable magic now trapped in his veins. Now a drifter and a "glitch" in reality, Jyak hunts power-hungry magi, fighting to silence the storm in his head before it consumes him.
