Excellence has long pale-lilac hair that seems to shine softly, and small horns decorated with pearls and beads. Her clothes flow like silk and shimmer with light colors: white, blue, and soft violet.

Excellence was not always her name. Born into a proud tiefling family obsessed with lineage and control, she was deemed a failure due to the inexplicable draconic blood flowing through her veins, her magic too unpredictable, she looked far too different from her siblings and the rest of her family, creating a lonely childhood. When her powers first flared uncontrollably and scorched her family’s sigil hall, they called her cursed and cast her out, forcing her to survive on her own for much of her life.

She renamed herself Excellence that same night, a word chosen as defiance, not vanity. If her family saw her as a failure, then she would embody the very concept they worshipped but never lived up to. Since then, she’s traveled as a blade-for-hire, using her mastery of magic to complete the occasional odd-job here and there.
