Missive of Employment: The Golden Quill Seeks Assistance

Esteemed scholars, adventurers, craftsmen and other competently-limbed individuals:
The Golden Quill is in the process of expanding its infranstructure and establishing an Arcane Workshop within the northern territories. A suitable site has been identified beneath Fjallheim's outer glacial shelf - an ancient dwarven forge-complex known as Thrymweld.
Preliminary scrying and structural surveys confirm:
As a result, the site is now overrun by resonance-reactive entities ("Arcforge Slimes" in common parlance. that feed on active spellcasting. Magical attempts to clear the forge have proven counterproductive, as the creatures grow exponentially when exposed to raw arcane output.
Thus, the Golden Quill formally requests a team of capable individuals - including, ideally, a high ratio of NON-MAGICAL operatives - to enter the forge, neutralize or contain the entities within, and secure the central Forge for restoration.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, spellcasters are still welcome, but must exercise extreme restraint to avoid triggering mana surges.

-Potions are BA for yourself, Action if given to someone else
-Holding a spell causes it to fizzle out when you either lose concentration (on a hit) or your next turn starts, wasting the spell slot
-When flanking a creature +2 is added to your roll to attack (not adv given)
-I will not have PvP in my quest. Do try to resolve tensions between players diplomatically, grappling is okay but no damaging spells or attacks shall be done to them. (AOE damage can be discussed OOCly and permitted if consented to)
-Please be present. During combat I will have you dodge and skip your turn if I don't see activity within 5 minutes. If this happens for 3 rounds you will be removed from the quest
-IRL happens, please communicate if you have to step away for more than 15 minutes outside combat
