I am a GM who has been running games since I picked up my first red box copy of D&D, three and a half decades ago. Things under my belt include many versions of D&D, L5R, Shadowrun, Earthdawn, Exalted, World of Darkness, Anima: Beyond Fantasy, Imagine, ACKS, Forbidden Lands, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Burning Wheel, HERO/Champions, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. While I have a penchant for dungeon crawls (and mega-dungeons in particular) stemming from my early exposure and personal proclivities, I also enjoy wilderness exploration, and am learning more about the intrigue and plots side of things. I try to be permissive of strange player ideas, but do my best to reign in things that would be abusive or detrimental to the fun of the people involved.

West Marches is a new thing for me to organize and run, but I've been looking at a game like this for years. There will be growing pains as I learn to adapt my own style to this format, and I'm sure things will change as I get more experience going forward. But I do try to take criticism in the way it was intended, and generally do not take offense easily.
