Backstory: Wilhelm grew up in the poorer districts of Bazagon City, the son of a dockworker and an apothecary who taught him from an early age that helping others was more important than seeking glory. After surviving a deadly fever that swept through his neighbourhood, Wilhelm dedicated himself to the local temple and became a devoted healer and protector. Believing that the world is becoming increasingly dangerous, Wilhelm left the temple to become an adventurer, hoping to protect those who cannot protect themselves while discovering the truth behind the mysterious lantern.

Appearance: Wilhelm is a broad-shouldered human in his early thirties, standing around 1.85 metres tall, with weathered features and the sturdy build of someone accustomed to hard work rather than military training. He has short dark-brown hair, a neatly trimmed beard, grey-blue eyes and a noticeable scar across his left forearm from an accident during his years as a temple healer. Wilhelm wears practical chain mail beneath a dark travelling cloak and carries a heavy shield bearing the symbol of his faith, along with a simple mace and a well-used healer's kit.
