Anvul Stronguard is an up-and-coming prosecutor for Argus' doctrines. He has studied for many years, and has carried a full copy of the Corpus of Law and Justice at all times for nearly a decade. It is well worn, slightly dog-eared from his earlier days, and his most prized possession.
He was born as a 4th Pedastal citizen, of a barrister in a provincial court, and has been attending court since he was able to not cry incessantly at all times. He has sought to follow in those footsteps, but wishes to be a bit more... proactive in the enforcement of the law.
He takes special issue with unauthorized magic use due to his first case being against one such criminal. He is of the (private) opinion that those convicted of poor magic use should have their fingers broken, and tied together, and their tongue removed, in addition to the Rite of Severance. The Rite of Binding, to him, is a stopgap measure at best.
