Evangeline (ee-VAN-juh-leen) has served dutifully in the Imperial military as a pathfinder and archer; however, she too often is heedless of the perils of her impudent words about her superiors.

Out of respect for her parents who were veterans and casualties of the Infernal War, Evangeline has been given leave to continue serving in the gauntlets, games, arena, or frontier. Her superiors expect her to either learn obedience or find her own path, so she is no longer their problem.

Embracing this opportunity, Evangeline hopes to use her new sort of independence to pursue some of her own goals and help some people along the way.
