Gerion Duskborne was born between two worlds — son of an exiled dark elf and a barmaid who worked long nights to keep food on the table. His father taught him how to fight, how to survive, and how to stand his ground. His mother taught him how to endure, how to serve, and how to keep his pride when the world spat in his face. She taught him the faith as well, in Ealmondyn the Comrade, though his father did not like it, the Hearthwarden struck a spark within Gerion, reminding him where he comes from, and the perseverance of the smallfolk.
Duskborne was meant as an insult—a bitter joke whispered by those who saw only his mixed blood. Gerion took that insult and swore to make it feared, respected, and remembered.
Years spent training under his mercenary father hardened him, forging muscle, scars, and resourcefulness in equal measure. Now he walks the realm not just for coin, but for conquest of another kind—the conquest of reputation, honor, and legacy. One day, the name Duskborne will be spoken with reverence, not laughter.
