Backstory

1. was born as a chosen of Illus and given the powers of a Divine Sorceress at birth
2. grew up in a small home, living a quiet life for the most part with 2 older bothers in a small village, a little outside of Free City
3. became the doctor of the small town after her mother, and a very talented doctor, far surpassing her mother due to her magical skills
4. girl in town got sick in the village and needed money for medicine that could only be found in the city
5. town pooled together money, but it wasn't enough
6. she lied and said it was enough
7. in a desperate last attempt, Helia gambled the funds away to a casino in Free City
8. owes money to the casino in Free City and was kicked out of home town for wasting funds, and the child is dead now
9. is now looking for a way to redeem herself in her own eyes atleast even if her hometown may never forgive her

Relationship with Illus

While Helia may have been blessed by the god Illus and thanks Illus for her gifts, she does not worship the god. Helia cares more about her freedom and healing others. This sometimes causes her to be in conflict with Illus as Illus wants Helia to be careful and measured, but Helia is not. This relationship between the two can almost seem like a third parental relationship, even though they have never spoken directly. She is particularly mad at Illus at the moment as she blames him partially for the death of the child. However, Illus most certainly has plans for her, even if she doesn't see or know it.

Dragon's Den Casino

The casino wants its money back. For now, she has just been kicked out, but if she does not give the casino its money at some point, they may be back to find another way to collect.

• Skin: Pale, but with a slight tan
