Osa was born in a small village that got destroyed by demons (or maybe devils?) when she was young. Her mother and her were among the few survivors who were saved by a roving Elkheart tribe who ambushed the outsiders as they were escorting their captives to gods know where. Not having anywhere to go, Osa's mother married one of the Elkheart men, and the girl was adopted into the tribe.

Her mother never stopped worshiping Illus though, and against the beckoning of her husband, taught the cult to little Osa as well. Besides that, the girl was integrating very well into the tribe, and had fully embraced the harsh Elkheart culture.

Her Elkheart future was not meant to be, as about 6 months ago she started to develop miraculous powers clearly associated with Illus the Lantern. The tribe elders decided she was an outsider after all, and had to leave.
