Before he was a Baron, Erro was a creature of the tides and the timber. Born in the coastal city of Chateauclair, he spent his youth under the dual shadows of his parents' greatness: his father, a master carpenter whose ships were legendary for their resilience, and his mother, a Windcaller who commanded the very storms to ensure safe passage across the deep.
Erro’s journey did not begin with a blade or a title, but with a scraper. To truly understand the craft of his father and the perils faced by his mother, he spent years as a common laborer on the Chateauclair docks. He spent his days in the mud at low tide, scraping barnacles from hulls and repairing minor blemishes on the vessels that called the port home. This menial labor instilled in him a quiet patience and a deep appreciation for the physical toll of a life at sea.
While his heart remained tied to the natural world, Erro’s path took a sharp turn toward the terrestrial during his early travels. Through a combination of grit and a stroke of luck in the dark places of the world, he secured a significant stake in a platinum mine. The royalties from this venture changed the trajectory of his life, transforming him from a laborer into a man of substantial means.
However, wealth was not enough to satisfy Erro’s need to prove his worth. He entered the grand arena, testing his druidic instincts and elven precision against the city's finest. His victory was swift and decisive—clean, calculated, and efficient. This display of prowess earned him an audience with Lord Tahir, who saw in Erro a man of both resources and capability.
Lord Tahir granted Erro the title of Baron, along with the formal right to travel and represent the interests of the realm. Erro used his newfound status and mine royalties to commission a ship of his own—a vessel that bridges the gap between his father’s carpentry and his mother’s elemental mastery.
While he maintains a modest residence in the Artisans Quarter of Chateauclair to stay close to his roots, his true legacy is the large, tranquil estate he purchased for his aging parents and extended kin, ensuring they live out their days in the comfort their hard lives earned.
Today, Baron Erro Elderfall is rarely found behind a desk or within city walls. He is a seafaring druid, a man who carries the weight of nobility but prefers the spray of the ocean. He is often found sailing into distant ports, only to find them under threat. Whether it is clearing out ruins or standing as a sentinel against the "true nature of evil," Erro remains a backup fighter for the defenseless, using his bow and his dark, blood-drinking blade to maintain the balance of the natural world.
