When his sister, Elara Tahir, went missing Sebas ventured forth to save her. Giving up his life as an interrogator with the guard he joined the Dead Dragon Kin. Elara had been turned into a vampire spawn by the lord of Chateauclair. With the help of Étain, Wendel Bronhold, Kannan Mellow, and many other Dead Dragon Kin they were able to confine her to a coffin for everyone's saftey until they could one day save her. That day never came. The vampire attacked the Dead Dragon Inn to free her, but left without her expecting her to save herself. Elara Tahir was struck down in front of her brother by Bishop.

Sebas, a now broken man, was able to throw himself at the vampire and in his rage prevailed. He plundered the vampire's sword Sanguinus. However something ancient in his blood was awoken.
