A survivable brawler.

Equipment:

• Shadow Lantern
  • Wondrous Item | Uncommon
  • You can summon up to two Shadows by taking a Magic action and using the lantern’s command word while holding it. The Shadows appear on a wall you choose within 20 feet of the lantern. They are unable to move beyond a contiguous wall and must remain perpendicular to the lantern. They remain until they drop to 0 Hit Points, the lantern is destroyed, or if dismissed while holding the lantern again.
  • While summoned, the Shadow is Friendly to you and your allies, and it obeys your commands. If you fail to command it, the Shadows defend themselves against attackers but takes no other actions. The Shadows summoned by the lantern cannot regain Hit Points by any means. If both Shadows are destroyed, the lantern becomes a nonmagical hooded lantern.
  • The lantern has AC 10 and 8 Hit Points and cannot be repaired once it is destroyed.

  • Shortsword, Uncommon (Requires Attunement)
  • This Hanu Bazagonian shortsword reflects an image of a cat spirit in its blade. It has 9 charges that are used for the following property:
  • Nine Lives. When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you regain Hit Points equal to the number of charges instead. Once you use this effect, a charge is expended.
  • When the last charge is expended, the cat's spirit flees from the blade to the nearest blacksmith's hearth to be reforged and the sword crumbles to sand.
