Lord Séverin Vaud, a wealthy collector, has a problem.
One of his prized antique dolls — Miette — tore itself apart during the night.
Its arms, legs, and eyes vanished into different parts of the house.
That same night, a maid named Lucette was found murdered.
Vaud wants the doll recovered, reassembled, and the unpleasantness put behind him.
He offers 200 gp.
