Menagerie’s newest exhibit, a new breed of phase spider goes unchallenged. Its last exhibition claimed the lives of a man, his ox, and Bjorn Erling. Bjorn, the goliath languishes as part of the Vivarium’s displays, paralyzed and enwreathed by webs. Antiquary offers the challenge and chance to rescue the Gauntlet Runner from within Vivarium. Successfully finding and rescuing Bjorn by escorting him to the next exit will award you additional XP and GP.

Special. In these rogue-like inspired gauntlets, retreat from the gauntlet is only possible at sanctuaries. The gauntlet's challenges and rewards have been made and will not be adjusted according to the party's size or levels, meaning level 1s may profit greatly but be at high risk. Preparation, planning, and party make-up will be integral to this game style. There is little storytelling and social roleplay at hand.

D20ctober. This is a special GM collaborative challenge featuring 31 prompts for each of the 31 days in October. D20ctober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so these participating GMs are challenging themselves with this creative tool. Today's prompt is “Rescue.”
