Three empty baskets sit on the stone wall outside Kallionvartio's infirmary.
Brother Malleus places a pruning knife beside them.
“Kalmajuuri.”
He holds up a dried root nearly black with age.
“Violet-veined leaves. Dark root. Bitter enough to convince you you're dying before it starts helping.”
He taps the first basket.
“Eight gold.”
The second.
“Eight more.”
The third.
“And another eight.”
He folds his arms.
“Yesterday three experienced herbalists went to collect it.”
“They came home without the medicine.”
A pause.
“They also came home without the baskets.”
He looks toward the forest.
“Apparently the baskets had arranged themselves around an empty grave.”
Another pause.
“My herbalists have decided this is somebody else's profession.”
He looks at you.
“Congratulations.”

If you have a set group of players for this, great. If not, Aunt Lysia and I could join in.
