Expected Duration: 4–4.5 hours
XP Reward: AL-appropriate XP and GP rewards.
VTT: Foundry VTT local server
Call: At session time, see Voice Channels on the Discord server.
This adventure heavily leans into investigation and social encounters. If the combat encounters occur they can't be simply resolved through direct combat alone. The party will need to investigate the island, interpret the surroundings, question the npcs. Time is limited for resolving the adventure as the party may not have enough time to investigate every location or hook before events overtake them.
Suggested Adventure Levels:
AL 2 for character levels 1–3
AL 5 for character levels 4–6
Leave a comment when signing up if you are also available for other ALs with your other characters. The final AL selected for the adventure will depend on the tiers of the signed-up characters.
If you are bringing a character or features from Esper’s book, please provide them beforehand. If sufficient time is available, I will automate them for your convenience in Foundry. To save time converting characters to Foundry VTT, please provide one of the following no later than 1 hour before the session:

The Bruidchan of the Nine Hosts stands upon a lonely stone islet off the south-eastern coast of Prydonia. It offers fire, shelter, and protection to travellers sailing between Ardachan and Aethelund. Its ancient law of hospitality has been honoured for generations.
It was ,however, viloated just three days ago as a pilgrim was found torn apart beneath the sanctuary walls. Another disappeared venturing into the cliffs and last night, something or someone, dragged a boatman into the darkness, leaving behind trail of flesh and blood.
At dawn, a terrified servant reached Caer Tref aboard a leaking coracle. He carried a fragment of an ancient bronze torc and a warning from the Bruidchan’s aged keeper: “The First Oath has been broken. The stones remember what we have forgotten.”
Lahad, Lord Mayor of Polis, having received the news tasked you with reaching the Bruidchan , uncovering what transpired and preventing the ancient sanctuary from becoming an abattoir.
