The town’s in a panic. Our drinking water from the stream north of the basecamp has turned foul, and I can’t pinpoint the cause. Something’s contaminating it, and we need it fixed immediately, or sickness will spread. I’ve seen odd discoloration and a stench rising from the water, but I lack the skill to confront whatever’s behind it.
