The lumber mill has been closed for weeks, claiming problems with hauntings, monsters, vandalism, theft, and arson. Local authorities from Port Paelios have given up their investigation. The mill in desperation has hired adventurers to help solve the mystery.

The docks claim they cannot build any other ships until the wood shortage is resolved.
