The Mage College is where Wizards and Sorcerers alike go to train their craft. Entry is limited and selective, but those that are invited are of high skill or high potential. Their focus lies entirely on the advancement of Magic, both of the individual but also the field as a whole. Novel magics, strange artifacts, and powerful mages can oft be traced back to the Mage College. Anyone that joins the college is assumed to receive great knowledge and skill, but the college expects valuable contributions of its students as well.

Due to the colleges selective nature, coupled with its focus on novel magics, its nestled into the side of a mountain. Secrecy is paramount here, as spells are tested within the stable walls of the mountain, unable to be viewed or spied on by visitors. It is unknown what exactly goes on within the walls of this institution, but it is well known that any that graduate from its halls will have their names remembered, for better or worse.
