Something has changed with the flow of magic in Asmaris. Rumblings from deep below the earth have been a infrequent constant for the subterranean city, but a short while ago the rumblings became constant. At the same time magic in and around Asmaris has changed significantly. Sometimes a fully trained wizard can barely form a spark while trying to cast a fireball. Sometimes a simple miner never known for producing magic forms a temporary portal to another world.
The Mages guild is deeply concerned by this and has asked for adventurers to step in. Gobble, a ribbit wizard and representative of the Mages Guild, has asked all interested parties to meet him at the Flicker-Fly Inn.
