Vegetables without Sunlight

Gherkin, a fellow Loral League adventurer, has a request for his companions. He is trying to start up farming in Asmaris, the recently vacated underground city. Right now he is only able to grow mushrooms, but knows of a way to grow a larger variety of vegetable and fruits. The underground city he came from has been growing vegetables underground for centuries. They use a small creature known as a Garlock to tend the vegetables. Somehow these creatures are able to help grow vegetables underground. Gherkin needs help to get one of these creatures to his farm so the new city has a homegrown source of nutritional sustenance.
