The party, having survived an ambush by soldiers wearing Amaram's colors, imprisoned two of their attackers and decided to infiltrate the Kohlin Monastery to speak with the Hearald Taln.

Lan spoke the words of the first ideal there in that moment, and in doing so granted Taln a few moments of true lucidity. The party learned what they could in those moments, including the location of Taln's Honorblade.

The party then exited the Monastery via a considerably less public route than they entered.
