Style
The setting of this world is inspired and takes much of its inspiration from real history. Though not slavishly chained to the historical by any means, there are some internal narrative and aesthetic consistencies that serve as guides for everyone at the table - these are rooted in those previously mentioned historical inspirations.

What to keep in mind!
- The story comes first: This game puts story above all else, not a prewritten narrative, but the one that is created by the players and the GM. The tales that arise naturally from the game, if the rules get in the way of that they will be changed or waved aside.
- Role play!: I encourage everyone to embody their characters, to think as people of the past and take your decisions through their eyes. Though you are just that - people, I encourage everyone to find stories in not only the epic, but also the mundane or familiar. These are stories about people above all else.
- We create the world together: Though there is a GM (me) at the table, they are not the only creator. As players you are encouraged to describe your scenes and your surroundings, this is why it is important that everyone is on the same page about the setting, it allows all of us to be shape the world. The GM is merely a final arbiter.
