The dominant population across the region, before and after the Cataclysm. Bastion, and nearly all other cities are human-led, though their political structures, cultures, ability, and beliefs vary widely.
Artificial beings that were created pre-Cataclysm. They are made from various materials such as metal, wood, and stone, shaped and enchanted with consciousness, each with their own small aetheric core. Most 'Forged', as they're known colloquially, are relics from The Empire's final years, discovered dormant and run-down, and later reawakened. While previously they were assigned functions and controlled through a central conduit, they now retain their own purpose and identity. They are largely considered their own citizens in most places across the world.
These are individuals who have stayed in Bloom-saturated regions for extended periods. Their bodies have been altered by persistent exposure and bear marks of twisted leylines. These changes range from subtle cosmetic shifts to larger animalistic, elemental, or otherworldly traits. Wilders are often treated with caution, since some have been known to have been altered more than just physically.
