Clarissa worked as an artisan in a village associated with Bastion. One fated day, the protective Pylons failed and a Bloomtide hit the village. The transformation into a Wilder left Clarissa with ever-shifting, living tattoos on her arms and an ethereal glow to her eyes and hair, while many of her friends and family suffered a fate much worse.

Clarissa moved to the city of Bastion and became a bit of a troublemaker. She blames the factions of Bastion for the incident and rarely trusts authority, instead seeking to reveal their secrets. She believes that knowledge must be acted upon to make a difference. The newly founded group at the Two Silver might just be the allies Clarissa needs to reach her goal...
