Rye has had a hard, even if so far short, life. With no small amount of luck to start she fought in the early years to get the powers tamped down, or at least to stop smoking when nervous. In a city as large as bastion he hopes that he can find someone better to teach or hide them, and failing that—simply hide more effectively.
