If you suspect any of these rules have been broken, please screenshot the evidence and copy the message link, then send it to Staff via #Tickets on the server.
Depending on the severity of the rule being broken, the order of infringements will go as follows:
First, you will receive Warnings. After three Warnings, you will be kicked for a determined amount of time. If you come back before your Kicked time is up OR if your actions are severe enough, you will be Banned.
Community Rules
- You must be 18 or older to participate in this server.
- Respect differences. Discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes conversations outside of the server.
- Keep it civil. Harassment of any kind will result in punishment. This includes outside of the server.
- Agree to disagree. Whenever there is a disagreement, please be respectful.
- Keep it PG-13 in the server.
- Even if a user has Open DMs in their roles, ASK FIRST.
- If you get a random DM from a random new user, please report it! It could be a bot.
- You must get permission before advertising yourself or a server.
Staff and GM Rules
- You are still at the same level as the rest of the community, just with more responsibilities.
Power trips will not be tolerated!
My favorite life experience example:
Player argued that chickens can fly. Mod said no. Player sent video evidence. Mods banned player for being "disrespectful".
We do not do that here. A simple civil dispute is not disrespectful.
If ANY staff or gm are on a power trip, PLEASE screenshot and send to me (glass_tanuki / Huldra) personally.
I take it seriously.
If there is a disagreement such as the example above, try to work out a compromise until an official ruling is decided later.
- We follow a rule of transparency.
Rule changes will be discussed with the community.
Follow-ups on reports can be discussed with the community.
As long as nothing is disclosed to identify anyone specifically, to keep privacy in check.
- All rules stated above must also be followed by staff and myself.
Staff will suffer the same consequences as any other member for breaking them.
Again, this is not a special power role. You are still a part of the community as staff, just with more responsibility.
- Be respectful and patient when answering questions from new users and players, or anyone really.
- Discussion among staff must be had before kicking, and especially before banning a member. They must obviously be a bot, spammer, or harmful to the community to be kicked or banned right away without discussion.
Note to GMs
When giving item rewards, try to have one for each character in the party and have them useful to their level and abilities. If it is junk by default, liquidate them and then split the value. Try to avoid giving items unless it is a special quest or event.
