Indeed, Ghislaine was a ruthless Matriach. One of the Beastkin, Ghislaine fought with unprecedented ferocity and it quickly imprinted on the impressionable fighter that Andy had become. She was trained not just in fighting styles, but conditioned through long travels, carrying their equipment and manual exercise during camp.
She never accepted the vows of a Paladin but was taught, and bought into, the values of The Inheritor. Fighting for valor, mercy and the strength to protect those who are unable to protect themselves is all the creed she needs, without any of the doctrine that being a fully devoted Cleric or Paladin brings.

Mannerisms: She often cracks her ligaments, knuckles and neck before a fight. During casual conversation, as a grounding mannerism, she'll crack her fingers in a very stiff and specific way, by never bending them and simply pressing until it pops.
She talks with her hands. Her hands always move when she communicates; if she's making a point or a threat she might poke her finger against someone's chest. She's extremely animated when speaking and has to make a conscious effort to keep her arms still.
Beliefs: She believes loyalty is action; it's not a promise or a word or an unbreakable, intangible bond. It's repetitive commitment to the cause or people you've sworn loyalty to; it's showing up and fighting or sitting down and hugging. It's long talks. It's cooking and sharing a meal.
Strength is a responsibility, you need a cause. Whether that cause is personal improvement or leaving a place better than when you found it: you have to have a reason for waking up in the early morning.
Motivators: Andy gets an inexplicable thrill when she fights and risks her life. It makes her feel alive in ways that nothing else can match. She's a junkie and can even get irritable if she goes too long without a little action.
Furthermore she's a protector. When the 'wolves' come for the 'sheep,' she's the 'Canine.'
Goals:
Flaws: Andy is not a thinker. When fighting is a central point in your whole life, fighting ends up being applied to most of your life. Any and all problem solving is met directly and at times impatiently. Furthermore, she's competitive to a fault, will never accept help and feel good about it and holds grudges almost as well as Dwarves.
Hobbies:
Likes: She likes cutting to the chase, she loves simple and pure food, and she loves a good late-night ale under a clear sky before sleeping in the open. Freedom, in contrast to the rigidity of martial arts and discipline, is something of a guilty pleasure for her.
Dislikes: Diplomacy and all the inefficiency attached. She's brutally aware that her lifespan is less than average from most species and has made it a point not to waste it on empty words and backstabbing politics. The same goes for science and slow, methodical investigation. Leave it to the Elf living through their seventh century.
Fears: The line between protector and thug is thin. She's an adventurer and a warrior, but do the Goblins they hunt have families they care for? Have they ever needlessly eradicated tribes? Are they morally manipulated through the questing system? When her soul is weighed for the after life, she can only hope she's made the cut. She fears the alternative.
