Xer is a lovable, naive bard of the Infernis race. While he also loves conventional beauty and life, he has a tendency to write glowing, inspiring-sounding songs about things that other folks commonly find dark and disturbing, including monsters, rot, and the undead.

He was raised (adopted) by a couple of kind and amazing human musicians, who brought him as a city foundling to the countryside when he was a baby. Xer is an excellent singer and fiddler, and is very confident in his skill, though humble that his parents are even better musicians. He has a reasonable education thanks to his parents, and cares for others.
