Welcome to Emaxus
The God-Wars of the Reckoning are only two years ended; the Regnant lie dead in the wake of the Fall, and the shattered remains of the mortal races struggle to pick up their own pieces. Step into Emaxus, a nobledark world in need of heroes to bring mortals back from the brink.
Awaiting you is a world broken--but not irreparable.
You have come to the nascent city of Ariminium, on the western shores of the shattered continent of Aitreas. Aitreas, like all the world, suffers from the damages wrought in the Reckoning, ended just two years prior. But here, one Imperator Rhys strives for a bold goal: to rebuild under a new Imperium, even when the Gods lie dead.
Have you come a refugee, clinging to life, or an opportunist, hoping to stake an early claim in this budding new world? Regardless of your motives, there is immeasurable danger to be faced--and incalculable power to be claimed for those who survive.
The Gods have fallen; will you join them, or rise from their ashes?
What can you expect here?
In a sentence, if you want Elden Ring, Dark Souls, or Darkest Dungeon as a Westmarch, with the core concept that things can and will be made better by your actions, you're in the right spot.
A Dangerous World, but a Welcoming Community
Whether you're a newcomer or a veteran of TTRPGs, our Westmarches is a place for players of all experiences and walks of life. Newbies can find a community to play with and opportunities to cut their teeth in this nobledark world, while veterans can truly test their mettle against a world that will see their light smothered if they lack the will to push the darkness back.
All players, no matter how experienced, will need to work together to overcome the challenges they find on their quests, lest they all be made equal in the grave.
A World to Explore, Conquer, and Shape
We hope to tell an evolving narrative with this community, in which players will help reclaim the lost marches of Aitreas, build the nascent Imperium into a civilization of hope, and even shape the world in their own ways, be it partaking in narrative events, buying property, or joining factions and even founding their own.
Freedom of Play
While there are some constraints on player creation, we hope players will find the tools to make a character that mechanically excites them and narratively satisfies them. To this end, we also hope to develop continued support for different systems. While this community is built around Pathfinder Second Edition, we also have experienced Daggerheart and DnD 5e GMs, and would like to develop a roster of applicable TTRPGs that fit our players wants and needs.
