Bonnet is the grandson of the (rumoured to be mad) scientist Salvador Biddercombe, having inherited his grandfather's ability to talk to insects and knack for entomology. Bonnet's mask causes a disconnect with his peers and garners nasty looks from those who aren't a fan of his grandfather, but he wouldn't have it any other way. His privacy comes first and he refuses to have his secret identity exposed to the public or involved in anything hero related, however, will he manage to keep everyone at arms length forever?
