Max Sideris - Bearer of the Aegis

The Sideris family have lived within Halcyon for years, as has the power that has been passed down the line, that of the Aegis.

In it's most trying moments there has been nearly no crisis the city has dealt with in modern times that the Aegis hasn't been there for, providing aid and rescuing people from the worst of disasters. The Aegis is a superhero of strength, stature, It is invincible and unyielding.

Everything Max Sideris isn't

Small, lanky, shaggy black hair, and covering up his fairly twig-like figure with a big black and gold hoodie. Max is often found stuck in a locker, taking on far too much from those that give little in return.

Most wouldn't even consider Max in a thousand years to be the heir to one of the grandest legacies in the city. Even he doesn't understand that as his father came to retire the power passed down to him, a blessing of the world onto his family, until he chooses to put down the power or becomes too infirm to wield it.

But there has always been an Aegis, a defender of the city who puts everything on the line and no matter how he feels the power now lies in his hands. Strength beyond measure, resolute to all attack, and senses that let him hear the cries of help a mile away. Refusing to let the legacy die out alone Max takes up the mantle, to protect his family, his city, and most importantly.
