The Mage College stands out from many of the regular buildings in Luma. Constructed of luminous white marble edged in gold filigree, it sits apart from the main city, its courtyard accessible through special arches that appear in various districts across the city. Indeed, it's hard to say where exactly the college is located—it seems to have different views of Luma available depending on the hour and day, and isn't visible from the surrounding city.

Inside, the building features high ceilings and elegant carvings. Footsteps echo down broad hallways and doors lead off to lecture halls, classrooms, workshops, and offices.

Workspace is provided to residents and visiting magic users. These facilities help protect the rest of Luma from any errant magic experiments or mishaps—the College can be isolated from Luma at a moment's notice as a security precaution to protect the city.

Permanent offices and resident rooms are available at the Mage College for an administrative fee. See ⁠Official Shop Campaign & Guide⁠ for facility costs. Scribing facilities are also available for spell copying. Material costs are the same as elsewhere in the city.

Work can be had at the College in the form of research grants, teaching, tutoring, scribing, and cataloguing artifacts, spells, and items in its Archives.

Located in the basement of the College, the Archives are an extensive and carefully managed collection of magical items. Access is heavily controlled. Only a select few know how many levels down the basement goes, but the deeper you are, the more dangerous the items around you.

The College is run by the Mage Council under the leadership of Cael Renaeth. An extremely powerful group of mages, they handle mandates and rules regarding appropriate magic use, resolve disputes, approve research grants, and hear requests for assistance from all over the multiverse. Their council chambers are open to visitors when the council is not in session.

Mundane matters, such as workshop requests and school enrollment, should be directed to the Registrar's Office.
