TOAT or Tales Old As Time, is a new storyline. Now that the prologue finished, players can repeatedly play this mission or any following mission in the storyline. With each session being further along in the developing conflict in this odd world. Part 1 focuses on the small-scale conflicts and blatant mysteries of the realm. The following parts to the story will likely feature a different faction, objective and location than the first. But they will always be replayable. In short, meaning your actions will play a factor on the developing story for all parts of TOAT.

This mission will utilize roll20 and the beyond20 browser extension to play. I ran a prologue mission recently where adventurers from Luma used a powerful magic to go back into the past of a realm called Zelgarda. They had to help avert a terrible tragedy, and succeeded. Now the realm has dramatically changed, once a terrible battleground of primordial entities, its now a place of mysteries and wonders. With a new and different kind of conflict brewing... civil war.

For all adventurers on Luma, a small and previously unused clearing has been occupied by a pair of twins called Gorelion and Sparrow. These two men claim to represent "The Free Blades" mercenary group from the Vezrichtan Baronies of the Gloried Lands. A faction of mercenaries led by a man called Eers Talum, they have expressed their goal as seeking profits, glory and notoriety. Talum has sent the twins to recruit or rally volunteers to aid in an upcoming skirmish between Belhocht and Vezricht. After these city-states have sent their terms to recruit the Free Blades, Eers might join either side, but he's offered to hear out the advise of "the ancient wanderers of Luma" before he makes his choice. Certainly the efforts in the past did not go to waste.

Players who wish to continue where they left off must confirm with me so I can prepare for any additional party members to show up! Otherwise we will play different plot hooks in Part 1 of The Gloried Lands.
