We staked out the suspicious area in the clearing by the 'painted cliff-side'. No one came through, but we found tracks when we first got here, though the trail was nigh impossible to follow. Maybe a mage could figure it out. There's a rough stream bed that has excellent canopy cover going through the heart of the fief, lots of fish, little to no threats. From all of your own sources (Player character background features), it seems there's more than a few secrets lurking in this backwater wilderness near the coast. Friends of your friends have circulated stories about everything from a bandit clan to a rotting titan's corpse hiding in the area. A pair of scouts marked a notable area with magical paint that will illuminate when a "Torch of Revealing" is brought close to it. A rough sketch map of the small region has been provided, as well as a cartographers kit, inkwell, quill, and ten pieces of parchment. The party will be expected to chart their adventure. Your characters receive a tattered envelope with the details above, and on the backside is a teleportation formula to travel to the Sword Coast.
