Waterdeep: Dungeon Heist [Campaign Session 16]

Previously on...

The party attended a, well... party! Seeking out hidden drow spies, they scoured for clues and talked to guests, eventually identifying an actor with a fancy cane he didn't want people to touch. It was revealed to be Jarlaxle Baenre of the Bregan D'aerthe himself! He tipped his hat at the party, and, with the festivities already ending, disappeared and made his escape.

The party headed home. In the morning, Mirt came around with gold to pay them for unmasking the spy. Information had gotten leaked, but they were at least able to figure out what had been leaked thanks to having the spy's identity known.

The party spent the day dealing with the many guilds and contractors now that construction of the bar was underway. They learned that the construction would be completed the middle of the following week. Hurrah!

The party then went hunting for the grell, tracked it down, discovered there were two, and killed them both. The Emerald Enclave recognized their heroism!

More work remains to be done to reopen Trollskull Manor as a tavern, but the party is getting close. And what's this? A knock has come at the door. A halfling in search of work!

And, of course, there is the question of the Stone of Golorr... Xanathar's request must not be forgotten.
