Backstory :
Sin Rosenkranz was born into the prominent and religious Rosenkranz merchant family within the Chrysohaem Empire. Raised surrounded by wealth and privilege by his parents, Kranz and Rosen, alongside his sister Virtue, Sin developed a sharp mind for strategy and a deep disdain for the toxic political games of nobility. During his youth, Sin formed a close childhood bond with Princess Arsenia Convallaria. Much like a devoted friend sneaking into a sheltered life to bring stories and laughter to a lonely companion, Sin became Arsenia's sole emotional refuge while her royal siblings shunned her for her half-Shadar-Kai heritage. As the threats against her life escalated from cold disdain to genuine danger, Sin refused to leave her behind to fate. He persuaded Arsenia to abandon her royal title, leave the Empire, and successfully brought her along with him to start a new life in the Tonala region.
Knowing the risks involved, Sin's family secretly supported their travel. House Rosenkranz utilized its vastcommercial networks, hidden trade routes, safehouses, and strategic bribes to mask the pair's tracks, keeping them hidden from imperial pursuers every step of the way. To ensure their safety on the long journey, Sin recruited Damon, a performer whose music had left a deep impression on Sin when they were children. Sin invited him to join their exodus. Sin directed their trek across the border to Tonala to seek refuge with his paternal uncle, Jomoran.
