Shunned by her own family, the Imperial Princess has only one true friend by her side: Sin Rosenkranz. Even though she has no followers or political backing for the throne, the relentless threats from her siblings continue to haunt her. When Sin offers her a chance at a new life, they decide to leave the Empire behind. Born a half-Shadar-Kai, the Princess is considered a "weak" descendant, a stark contrast to the rest of her family, whose veins course with the immense power of their ancestors.
