Backstory:
Many years ago, a memoryless changeling child was found crying in an abandoned village by a wandering bard, who took her in, raised her, and named her Misty. Under her care, Misty learned music, words, and the subtle art of shaping how others see her. That life ended when the bard was killed by a noble’s lackeys—an event Misty was forced to witness from hiding, leaving her with a simple lesson: survive, and never trust noble houses.

Alone, Misty fled into the wilderness, surviving for years by instinct and by taking on whatever face she needed. By the time she reached adulthood, she made her way to a city, where she blended into its streets as a performer and observer, quietly gathering coin and information alike. Her talents eventually drew the attention of a guild that valued subtlety over strength, and she accepted their offer—not out of loyalty, but because it was useful.

Now, Misty moves through the world behind borrowed faces, never quite the same person twice, and never truly known.
