When tracking a foul beast I not only deducted its actions, I felt them. Like a vision happening in front of my eyes as the moon lit the way and showed me step after step where it went. It all just happened to make sense and work out in my head - in a way different than ever before. Since then I seeked guidance on magic of all sorts, which was a gateway to learning about creatures, planes, types of entities, science, alchemy - anything I could get my hands on, and learned to use magic in these endeavours.
A family of orcs that have lost their son to a wild orc cult. They had no coin, nor no riches to bestow upon me, but I felt it inside I have to bring him home before he's lost to an evil cause. That made me realize, I am way too good at tracking down foul creatures not to use it for good. After all, I was raised to leave the world a better place than I found it - and looking at how much trouble I kept getting in as a child, I have a lot to do to recompensate.
A demonic abomination, an eldritch horror beyond comprehension that decided to manifest as a creature made from humanoid hands, speaking an incantation as soon as it realised the door was opened. I quickly severed the connection, but sometimes have dreams of that moment. I feel like I left this encounter a different person, even though I can't pinpoint what's different.
